What you can do to improve the overall teamplay, is promote good behavior and encourage your teammates. People can be d**kheads and there is nothing to do about it. It could be because teamplay gets more important at this level.įirst, sometimes you can’t. Because no matter what they try to improve, it doesn’t get them in higher ranks. People feel like they are stuck forever in this rank. I think this might also be why people used to refer to a “ DMG hell“. Lower ranks is where you benefit the most for self improvement (below DMG). In the lower ranks, it is not as important and it is easier to get carried.
Once you hit DMG and above, teamplay really becomes a big factor in winning. NaToSaphiX made a good video about consistency in CS:GO. What really tends to be a problem on this level is inconsistency, sometimes you play like a god, other times you think that your place should be in the Silvers. Also have confidence in Eco rounds and learn the economy in CS:GO.Įagles: Trust your teammates, you are not in Silver anymore. Know the angles and get positioning right. Study strategies for Terrorist play, as this is often the weaker side for most where you have to play offensive.ĭistinguished Master Guardian (DMG): Most people in this rank, could really improve by getting positioning right.
Important thing is map design, get to know the maps you play. Master Guardians (AK’s): Your aim is probably okay at this point. If you are low on money and not on Eco, but body armor and then you can decide which gun you can afford. Remember to buy armor, it is crucial, especially on this level where a lot of people doesn’t make headshots. This can be done by playing a lot of deathmatch for example. Silvers and Gold Novas: Try to improve your hand-eye coordination and general aim. This is not an exact answer for all your problems, but it might be a good place to start. Here is some quick tips on what people in general needs to improve to get out of X rank. Tldr: I ranted a bit about the fucked up mm system and I wanted to ask how many wins will it take in a row or something like that to get to supreme? Sorry this turned more into a rant but I was going to ask, how many wins did it take you to get to supreme? I'm sitting on 2 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties and I am pretty sure thats close to deranking. We had 3 other globals on my team and one of them was deranking, I ended up second fragging and we tied. Silly stupid setbacks are causing me to not go up, I played against supremes and a global and the supremes weren't trash, the global was only somewhat challenging. I am outside of the house rn but perhaps later I could prove it with my match history. I played dust 2 yesterday after not playing comp for a while, me and this other guy were usually on top, the others were doing fine, but there was this one chick on our team who was clearly boosted to LE-LEM because she was AWFUL, I tried not to be mean but holy shit she couldn't trade she couldn't hold site or anything. The messed up ranks are really worrying me about deranking
